Allocating the flux by the help of a flux pen does have different advantages. First of all, handling the harmful respectively toxic substance is easier and safer. Secondly the reservoir can be closed simply and therefore prevented of drying out. Thirdly the soft mechanical conditioning by the fibre glass point of the pen supports the chemical treatment of flux.
