For the Joy of the Printed Circuit Board: |
MARTIN launches the Expert 10.6XL with the new Hybrid Underheater (IR and Convection) |
| Wessling, November 2009. MARTIN GmbH, the specialist in innovative und functional developments for rework, introduces a newly developed Underheating system, which combines IR radiation with convection at Productronica 2009. The Expert 10.6XL is not only more powerful than its predecessor 09.6XL, thanks to its revolutionary hybrid design, but also housed in an elegantly stylish enclosure. A package that combines a powerful hybrid Underheater, a compact control unit and all required cables. The well thought through equipment concept enables the highest process certainty and user friendliness. The unit is especially suitable for the repair of large PCBs, such as high value server boards. |
| Revolutionary Hybrid Underheater |
For almost a year the MARTIN development team have been refining the Expert 10.6XL. As always, the ever present goal is to fulfil even better the higher demands of rework applications in all areas. For customers the patent applied for device is a wonderful innovation for two reasons: not only is there now a more powerful and larger Underheater but in addition to infra red technology convection is also employed. The modern hybrid method promises an even more equal temperature distribution. Users can rely on precise and effective heat flow for the reworking of any assembly.

This reduces any heat based PCB distortion to a minimum. An increase in productivity and quality as well as easier use of the equipment are the results of this technologically refined detail solution. Customers acquire compact and intuitively useable rework stations while benefiting from all the advantages of modular production and individual service.
| A Case full of Rework |
A additional advantage is the fact that this equipment is fully portable. The team responsible for the development of the Expert-10.6XL have not only considered the importance of its professional and practical application but also an appealing and user friendly exterior: The whole of the rework station, including the new hybrid Underheating, the complete control unit and all cables are all united in one attractive housing. There is no more cable mess. Easy transport, simple usability as well as user friendly software make this innovatively designed equipment an attractive companion for rework soldering. Ideal for all users who like to have a handy, practical and uncomplicated unit while insisting on a professional approach.
