After 27 Years - Pastures New |

| Wessling, November 2009. From the 1st of January 2010 Martin GmbH will be under new ownership. The founder – owners Elke and Bernhard Martin have sold 100% of their shares to the Berlin company Finetech GmbH & Co KG. Wessling will continue to be where MARTIN products are designed and made. |

After 27 years, distinguished by continued growth and numerous patented production innovations in SMD Technology, Elke und Bernhard Martin are finding pastures new. The main emphasis will be their newly formed company: bluMartin, dedicated to the development of energy-saving technologies. Bernhard Martin will continue to be available for innovation assignments for MARTIN.
The MARTIN and Finetech product ranges are an ideal fit. Martin is market leader in Rework- and Dispensing-Technologies in the mid price segment. Over the decades high flexibility in customer service and the development of modern SMD-Technology has ensured MARTIN’s successful establishment in this market. Finetech will expand its own product range through this acquisition to everyone’s benefit as clear synergy effects are realised.
Elke and Bernhard Martin part with heavy hearts from their company, which, over the decades, they have been instrumental in keeping at the leading edge of the market. Bernhard Martin sees a productive development in this fusion of the two companies, which together will provide a more powerful force and better competitiveness to maintain the dominant market position, including MARTIN products.
