Ideal Environment for High Tech Production |
Press release 1/2004 |
With the move to owner occupied premises in the High Tech Commercial District of Wessling/Obb, Germany, MARTIN, the dispensing and rework specialists, have set important markers for the future. The manufacturing facilities, arranged according to the most up to date logistical and technical knowledge, not only provide a pleasant working environment but also the prerequisites for economical batch production. The three ranges of equipment in the rework sector: Expert-07/09, Expert-04 and the new Hot-Jet-05 as well as the dispensers will benefit particularly from these provisions.
| After a batch of basic machines is completed individual customer requirements are catered for in the second phase, which is followed by extensive and realistic tests to ensure that each one is in perfect health. Amongst the specific needs of the wide spectrum of customers form over 25 countries are individual soldering nozzles for special components, often quite different from case to the next. |

The architectural philosophy of Elke und Bernhard MARTIN has found its expression in many facets of the building, so that despite the prestigious location, amongst many other high tech companies in the area, an economical solution has been achieved. Not only has there been emphasis on physical, but also mental and emotional cooperation and the well being of the whole team for maximum effectiveness. There are very few doors to divide the cube shaped internal workspace to encourage openness and the free flow of ideas. Controlled air exchange and a great deal of light are further contributing factors to a forward looking and positive climate (the extremely energy efficiency of the “Passive Building” is a contribution by MARTIN to the reduction of the problem of global warming).
Influenced by these positive new conditions, there are plans to exceed previous production levels with 600 machines in 2004.
