Underheater for demanding soldering

Applications for underheaters range from pre-heating of PCBs for hand soldering tasks over pre-heating for automated machine rework to curing or cracking of underfill.

MARTIN offers a wide choice of underheaters. They can be classified by size of the heater and heater performance.  For small boards IR systems are available up to a power rating of 2.000W.  For medium sized boards and above Hybrid heaters between 3.000 and 10.000 W are on offer.

Hybrid Underheaters can be augmented with additional functions, such as Hot Gas top heating, residual solder removal and Positioning Arm.  Please check with your local MARTIN representative as to which combinations and options are possible.

Very Large area underheater. 10.000 W heating power are available to heat up very large size heavy mass PCB easily whereby the hybrid technology allows very gentil temperaturing of thin and soft PCBs too.

Large area underheater. 5.000 W heating power are available to heat up large size and heavy mass PCB easily whereby the hybrid technology allows very gentil temperaturing of thin and soft PCBs too.

HOTBEAM 08

Hybrid underheater. 3.000 W heating power are available to heat up PCB easily whereby the hybrid technology guarantees very gentil temperaturing. No twisting, no worping, no colour changes!

Infrared underheater. 2.000 W heating power are available to heat up hevy PCB efficienly. Uniquie features are the very compact design, the large power density and the fast responding heating source.
