CAM-DESIGNER Conversion Software

Establishing dispensing programs from the printed circuit board CAD information is simply, fast and reliably carried out by the CAM-DESIGNER software. 

Gerber Formats RS274X & RS274D can be imported into the conversion software CAM-DESIGNER and processed for the requirements of a dispensing process.  For example, the required solder deposit thickness, the dispensing sequence and the dispensing tip used can be specified in order to automatically determine how many dots and at what spacing they should be applied.  This results is a dispensing program for processing different contact pad types (BGAs, QFPs, exposed pads of QFNs) using a particular type of solder paste and dispensing nozzle.  The need for different dispensing head configuration is reduced resulting in saved time and costs.  

Naturally, CAM-DESIGNER records the Fiducial Marks of the board to make alignment with the CCD camera as easy as possible.
